This course provides the leader of a nonprofit organization with an executive-level view of what is foundational for God-honoring personal, organizational, and board leadership. It creates a roadmap that encourages a leader to think more deeply about the role of executive Leadership and how senior leaders influence others, the organization, the board, and those the organization serves. CCNL 1 is a required course for all CCNL program participants.

The first course in The Thriving Leader series focuses on establishing foundations of spiritual formation and how these principles and practices influence our thinking, behavior, and development, as well as Christians called to serve. It begins with knowing God, understanding self, valuing relationships, embracing resiliency, and building a construct that leads to thriving.
