CCNL3 | RELATIONSHIP | CONNECTING HEARTS TO MINISTRY MISSION
This module provides an executive-level view of creating and building an engaging brand, connecting that brand with various audiences, and inspiring donor support. You will learn to establish your organization’s distinctive brand, gain insight into pursuing a sound technology approach in your organization’s communications, and develop practical, biblically based guidance for building and stewarding transformative, lifelong relationships with your organization’s donors.

Learning Objectives
- Learn the fundamentals of brand development.
- Understand the components of an engaging brand.
- Identify all the channels and methods to connect your brand with your target audience.
- Discover the core ways to inspire donor support.
- Learn the keys to stewarding lifelong donors.
Requirements for Receiving Credit
- Completing and submitting five Reflection assignments demonstrates that the participant has read the required resources and reviewed the presentation content.
- Engage in all topic forum discussions for all five sessions.

Faculty: Dr. Lorie Lee, Partnership Manager for Compassion International
Lorie is a passionate lifelong learner with a gift for strategy, communication, and collaboration. She holds two Master’s degrees—one in Theology and another in Christian Education—and an Ed.D. in Christian Ministry and Administration. Her academic journey reflects her deep commitment to equipping others for meaningful ministry.
With over 20 years of experience in Christian nonprofit work, Lorie has served in a variety of impactful roles—from publishing and events at Lifeway to global child development and church engagement at Compassion International, where she has served for the past 15 years.
A published author of two children’s books, Lorie brings creativity and heart to everything she does. Based in Colorado, she is passionate about helping people discover and live out God’s mission for their lives.
