A Celebration of Christian Women in Leadership

In this Special Leadership Series learning experience, you will learn from 11 women whose service has positively impacted the Christian Leadership Alliance community and ministry worldwide. They lead with profound faith, guided by God's direction. We also acknowledge that their lessons apply not only to women. They offer insights into leadership and stewardship that can benefit everyone.

Beth and her husband, Todd, live with their family in Cincinnati, Ohio, where they serve as Co-Executive Directors of Back2Back Ministries. After graduating from Indiana University, the Guckenbergers moved to Monterrey, Mexico, where they lived for 15 years. Between biological, foster, and adopted children, they have raised eleven children.

Before this role, Commissioner Jolene Hodder served as the territorial president of Women’s Ministries. Among other vital efforts, she and her husband, Commissioner Kenneth G. Hodder, worked diligently to address the growing homelessness crisis. She is the author of two books, “Walking in White” and “A Bend in the Road.

She has a long career in Christian ministries and at The Navigators alongside her late husband, Roy (God changed His address through cancer, Oct. 30, 2021). Before joining the Navigators, Margaret served in senior leadership for ten years in a Fortune 100 company. During that time, she also served on two Boards of Directors for Christian ministries. In 1994, Margaret and Roy left their corporate careers following a clear call from Jesus.

Before that, she served as the global ministry director of the TWR Women of Hope. For many years, Peggy has served as a Biblical Counselor and Coordinator of a Biblical Counseling Ministry along with positions in Women’s Ministry, Executive Leadership Development, and teaching within churches, non-profit organizations, and seminaries with extensive experience in cross-cultural training in trauma, biblical counseling, and leadership.

At World Vision U.S., Christine has focused on organizational health and staff well-being. Christine earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wheaton College and completed graduate coursework in human resources at Benedictine University. Later, she participated in an executive education program at Harvard Business School. A longtime champion of women’s career and leadership development, she served on the advisory group and then the board of the Christian Leadership Alliance. After retiring from World Vision, Christine finds joy in cycling, kayaking, and exploring the Pacific Northwest and the world.
